Jan 12, 1959 Karene to Zelda

St. Ignatius
Jan 12, 1P.M.
(This is written on a postcard in a spiral pattern, pretty yet hard to read.
Dear Zelda:
How are you? We are all fine I guess.
Maybe you won't get my last card until today. No one went past the mailbox ll until today.Barry went down to the game this morning.so it didn't get to town. It was a most beautiful day Saturday-spring fever. At 8:30, all of a sudden it started to rain, and rained hard for an hour.It rained the same yesterday morning and sprinkled during the day. I had to teach the genealogy class yesterday morning. And Arvill Anderson was in there-scared me to death But I got some compliments and I don't know wot to do with them. Blanche, Faye & I-Betty Lou and Madge went to Missoula with Clint oh my pen must be going dry.Anyway-Diania went too. We went to Grandma's when we came back -until church time.
Guess we might ship some Idaho hay in. Will be here Wednesday.
Grandma hasn't been feeling very well. Her legs have been bothering her. And she had to have Art work on her furnace again.
The Bishop wasn't feeling well yesterday & seems so funny not to see him at church.
Alice J didn't go back to work. Kent is working for Moss now-they lost 1/2 their spuds-freeze.
